چکیده

Liquid wastewater is essentially the water disposal of community after pure has been used in a variety applications. In recent years, heavy metal concentrations, besides other pollutants, have increased to reach dangerous levels for living environment many regions. Among metals lead most damaging effects on human health. It can enter body through uptake food (65%), (20%) and air (15%). With this background certain low cost easily available biosorbent like Olea Europaea was reported study. The scope present study remove Lead from its aqueous solution using Resin as biosorbent. Langmuir, Freundlich, Tempkin Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) models were describe biosorption equilibrium EuropaeaResin biosorbent. The results showed that capacity more removal around 34.2 mg/g followed Langmuir isotherm. kinetic pseudo-second order rate expression found represent well with data

Nonsterol Triterpenoids as Major Constituents of Olea europaea

Plant triterpenoids represent a large and structurally diverse class of natural products. A growing interest has been focused on triterpenoids over the past decade due to their beneficial effects on human health. We show here that these bioactive compounds are major constituents of several aerial parts (floral bud, leaf bud, stem, and leaf) of olive tree, a crop exploited so far almost exclusiv...

Poorly humified peat as an adsorbent for metals in wastewater.

Metal adsorption and surface charge determinations were performed previously on well-characterised Sphagnum and Carex peat samples. The aim of this investigation was to determine metal adsorption from complex wastewaters onto these peat samples and compare it to the adsorption onto peat granules, clinoptilolite, glauconite and a flue dust from steel production. A sulphide mine leachate, a landf...
